Before be a freelance graphic designer...

Who are you?

If you are a graduate or diploma holder of graphic design, If you have been a graphic designer before, this post is not yours ...
If you are a graphic designer who has developed self-education through Youtube and the Internet or through other means, and if you want to become a Freelance Graphic Designer through the knowledge acquired, this post is for you.
What is the main thing that you need to do as a Freelancer Graphic Designer? Yeah...It is your portfolio...

Why is the portfolio so important?

Because it is your showcase. think. You are going to buy something. Any one really likes to buy beautiful things. We don't buy ugly things. We love what we see with our eyes. Your portfolio is the one you need to first see the client who gets your service in that way...
By seeing it, the client acquires a basic idea of your condition, knowledge, and ability ...
So. To start work as a freelance graphic designer, You must create your showcase first...
Often if you've been learning a graphic design through self-education, I know you do not have a good showcase of your own...
This is because you have not previously developed a graphic design for some orders ...
I will explain what I said above.
Imagine creating a gig for 3d logo design on the Fiverr. You're getting an order. Your client signs about the logo he wants. He says that he needs colors, pictures, and some places just as he says. So now you have a set of instructions. You will need to design your logos according to that set of guidelines.
But if you do not receive training to work according to a set of guidelines,
If you do not have the idea to design a logo,
If you do not have the idea to design a logo,(This is the most important thing)
Can not you satisfy your client?...

Also, what you are attracted to by the client before you receive an order?

The reason for this is your portfolio...
WTF?...What are you telling me?... First, you say there must be a showroom. We must have experience. How are you connecting these two to the portfolio?
I said before. The portfolio is your showcase. It shows your talent, skills, experience, knowledge, ability and many more... As you build your portfolio, your experience, ability, knowledge, skills will automatically grow ...
I think that you understand what I say ...

So How I create my portfolio?... How I get projects for works...?

Simple. The best I know from my experience is creating creativity for websites that have graphic design contests. 99designs, designcrowd, designhill are the best examples for these websites...You can register on those websites. And put designs for contests...Those who submit their contests have given details of what he wants. For example, think about a logo design contest. In the game details, the competitor has the following information: color, pictures, etc. You have to create them according to that information...
And you probably will not win the matches ...Do not think, unfortunately, of your inability...f you're fortunate, you win...But think of the experience you have for creating these competitions...
Also, check out the designs of the winners. Get the idea of those designs. Create them with your own ideas. Make graphic designs with those ideas. Include designs continuously. Also, at any time you have not won any competition, but keep the designs you have created on your computer. Compare the winning designs and the designs you made. Try to understand what the client wants. Develop every day. Improve your thoughts. Learn more self-study lessons.
In time, you will discover that your ability, experience, talents have increased ...
Then look back at the designs you presented to those competitions ...Then you will see them as a complete portfolio.
